Swine flu vaccine offered at Bayfront Park

The Bayfront Park Recreation Center, 4052 Gulf of Mexico Drive, will be hosting the Sarasota County Health Department, which will be offering a free swine flu vaccine clinic 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 17 and 24.

Previously only at-risk people, such as school children, were provided the vaccine.

The county is warning residents that although local incidents of the flu illness have subsided, another wave of illness could occur.
