Swine flu vaccine available to Longboaters

Sarasota County Health Department is offering free swine-flu vaccinations to all Longboat Key residents.

Previously only at-risk people such as school children were provided the vaccine.

The shots will be available from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 5, at the Sarasota County Health Department, 2200 Ringling Blvd., Sarasota, and Woodmere Community Park and Recreation Center, 3951 Woodmere Park Blvd., Venice.
