Suspect sought in fraudulent withdrawals

A Publix surveillance camera has snapped pictures of a man Sarasota County deputies say made fraudulent withdrawls from ATMs, according to an Aug. 19 news release.

Detectives believe that the bearded white male shown in the recently released photographs used a stolen credit card at Publix ATM locations at 5804 Bee Ridge Road and 3690 Bee Ridge Road between Aug. 2 and Aug. 6.

Anyone with information about the man in the photographs or incidents is encouraged to call Sarasota County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations at 861-4952, or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at  366-TIPS (8477).
