Growing up riding his bike to St. Armands Circle, starting in the apparel industry at the age of 15 and working on the Circle through college prepared Geoffrey Michel to end up exactly where he is now — alongside his wife, Brenda, operating The Met.

“With Brenda’s business intelligence, and my work ethic, we opened our own business at the age of 30,” said Geoffrey Michel. “We have raised both of our children right alongside of us. It’s not uncommon to have my 6-year-old daughter, Ava, helping pick out dresses from a designer, while my 4-year-old son, Sawyer, is helping me with the leaf-blower on our front sidewalk. We are a true family business.”

With the ambiance of a luxury home, the Fashion House offers top-notch designers such as Armani Collezioni, Ralph Lauren, Etro, Rivamonte, Zegna, Burberry, Hugo Boss, Robert Graham and Diane von Furstenberg.

Furthermore, the full-service day spa and salon offers award-winning hair services, nail services, massage, technologically advanced and organic esthetic treatments and hydrotherapy treatments. The sound of fountains, the scents of essential oils and the visual impact of luxury items contribute to the utopia-like atmosphere of The Met’s Spa and Salon.

“Our staff, blended with our product mix, and facility make us unique,” Geoffrey Michel said. “Our blend of fashion, and spa and salon services creates a true lifestyle experience for our client. I am constantly reminding my team how important we can and should be to our clients’ lives.”
