'Storage Wars' fight cancer

A "Storage Wars" style charity auction Sept. 20 will benefit the American Cancer Society.

Value Self Storage will hold an auction for three 5x10 and one 10x10 foot storage lockers, filled to the brim with furniture, antiques from an old gift shop and other surprise items.

The event will be held at 10 a.m., at Value Self Storage, 3265 University Parkway, Sarasota.

One-hundred percent of the proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society, Kure It Cancer Research and the Self Storage Association Foundation.
