+ St. Mary holds crowning event
The St. Mary, Star of the Sea, Catholic Church Women’s Guild celebrated Mother’s Day with its annual crowning ceremony of the blessed Virgin Mary statue after Sunday Mass. Women’s Guild member Anne Kelley crowned the statue, and Msgr. Gerard Finegan led parishioners in hymns and prayers.
