Dr. Henry E. Simmons, president of the National Coalition on Health Care, was the guest speaker at the Dec. 8 meeting of the Sandpipers of All Angels by the Sea Episcopal Church. The agency is the oldest nonprofit, non-partisan alliance working for comprehensive health-care reform. Prior to addressing the group, he met informally with members. Simmons resides on Longboat Key and in Washington, D.C.
