Sarasota resident Rose Schloss, 101, recently returned from a trip of a lifetime. The centenarian, originally from Oklahoma, met with her two sisters, both also older than 100, for the first time in more than a decade. The reunion was made possible when an employee at Brookdale Living, where Schloss resides, reached out to nonprofit Wish of a Lifetime and shared Schloss’ and her sisters’ story. On April 10, Schloss was reunited with sisters Ruth Branum, 104, and Rubye Cox, 110, at Cox’s community in Bristol, R.I. Schloss was able to meet her sisters’ families as well as her first great-grandchild.
