Sarasota County is working to contain a water main break near the 300 block of Beach Road, and has closed part of the southbound lane just south of Siesta Key Village.
Siesta residents registered in the county’s CodeRED database should receive a notification by phone if they will be affected by the water main break, which was reported at 7:48 a.m.
