A new gazebo in the Siesta Key Village is the icing on the cake of its village beautification project, which began in 2000.
“We wanted to create a town center for the village,” said Mark Smith, president of the Siesta Key Village Association.
The new gazebo and its flagpoles signify the core of the Key.
The gazebo will be dedicated to Charlie Valentine, the former executive director of the Siesta Key Chamber of Commerce.
