Siesta Key condominium sells for $592,000

A condominium in Sarasota Surf and Racquet Club tops all sales in this week’s real-estate transactions. Paul Kessen, of Boone, Ky., sold his Unit 1206 condominium at 5920 Midnight Pass Road to Paul and Elizabeth Coz, of Beverly, Mass., for $592,500. Built in 1971, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,352 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $345,000 in 1999.

Cynthia Ann Palmer Austin sold her home at 934 Contento St. to Equity Trust Co. for $427,500. Built in 1968, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,064 square feet of living area.

Sarasun Property Management LLC sold the home at 755 Sandy Nook St. to Frank Parisi, of Sarasota, for $287,500. Built in 1965, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,791 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $267,000 in March.

Fannie Mae sold the Unit 222 condominium at 5855 Midnight Pass Road to James and Diane McCann, of Venice, for $275,000. Built in 1976, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,180 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $550,000 in 2006.

Sarasota Beach
William Bell, of Ruskin, sold his home at 5521 Calle Del Verano to Robert and Candide Werkmeister, of Victor, N.Y., for $245,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 759 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $325,000 in 2004.

Lonabelle Spencer, trustee, sold the home at 1640 Wisconsin Lane to Dane Spencer and Gail Hustedde, of Sarasota, for $250,000. Built in 1963, it has two bedrooms, three baths and 1,799 square feet. It previously sold for $247,500 in 2008.

Helen and Martin Agnew, of Livingston, N.Y., sold their home at 9431 Glen Abbey Lane to Michael and Nancy Thompson, of Sarasota, for $450,000. Built in 1997, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,108 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $264,600 in 1997.

Bankunited FSB sold the home at 566 Crane Prairie Way to Todd Mechtensimer and Brenda Tamm, of Osprey, for $190,000. Built in 2005, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,878 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $326,000 in 2005.
