Bob Angers says he and his fellow classmates from Sarasota High School’s class of ’46 are “old as dirt,” but if you’re thinking it was an easy task getting the bunch to pose for this recent photo — when they donated $1,000 to SHS’s scholarship fund — think again. We had to shush the chatty ones, get the attention of a woman who was looking longingly into her high school sweetheart’s eyes and even ask the momentary flirting to stop long enough to snap a photo.
