Shoreline cleanup yields 21 bags of debris

Volunteers collected 21 garbage bags of trash, recyclable material and fishing line during the second Shoreline Cleanup on Coon Key Saturday, Nov. 9.


Twenty Plymouth Harbor residents, staffers and family members participated in the event.


Six volunteers searched the bayside mangroves in kayaks and a canoe, while 14 members of the cleanup team crawled and climbed through mangroves to wrestle trash from mangrove roots.
