One of the stars of a summer YouTube clip showing men firing weapons above crowds in north Sarasota is back in jail, thanks to a joint operation between the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshals Service Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force.

Deputies arrested Jerral Bell this morning for possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and discharging a firearm in public, according to a Sheriff's Office news release. He is being held without bail following a traffic stop near the intersection of University Parkway and Shade Avenue.

Bell, 25, has been arrested at least 20 times on burglary, battery and multiple gun and drug charge, according to the release.

The Sarasota Police Department had used surveillance footage from July 5, of Jerral Bell brandishing, and firing a weapon in the midst of a crowd on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Way, to highlight public safety concerns in the area. Bell failed to appear in court for his arraignment for that incident.
