Seventh-graders keep tabs on campaign

Modeled after the movie, “Paperclips,” seventh-graders at Temple Sinai launched a campaign to make the deaths of 6 million Jews in the Holocaust more tangible. Since February, the “Tabs for Souls” campaign has been in action. The goal is for the students to collect 6 million soda-can tabs; so far, the students have amassed 9,686 tabs. The outgoing seventh-grade class is passing on its collection to the incoming class this fall. Collection bins are located throughout the temple.
