Seven men arrested for indecent exposure

Sarasota County deputies arrested seven men who exposed themselves to undercover detectives after a three-day operation at Casperson Beach Park, according to a Sept. 5 news release.

The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office charged each of the following men with exposure of sexual organs, which is a misdemeanor:

+ Jay Aiello, 67
+ Brian Pound, 56
+ Richard Smithson, 77
+ Gerald Clark, 48
+ Eric Jacoby, 45
+ Daniel McAvoy, 61
+ Donald Myrber, 63 

"The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office routinely conducts this type of operation in response to citizen complaints and will continue to do so to ensure residents and visitors can enjoy the venue without encountering illegal activity at the public park," reads the news release.
