Seasons 52 restaurant coming to mega mall

The Mall at University Town Center has its first official restaurant. 

Seasons 52, a fresh grill and wine bar developed by Orlando-based Darden Restaurants Inc., announced Friday it will open a new location at the under-construction mall, when it opens in Oct. 2014. 

Seasons 52, known for a seasonal menu that changes four times a year, does not have a item on its menu that has more than 475 calories. 

The chain restaurant has 40 locations listed on its website, including in Tampa and Orlando, with several more new locations to come.

The restaurant has a piano bar with live music every night. 

Project developers Taubman Centers and Benderson Develoment broke ground on The Mall at University Town Center, a 50/50 joint venture, Oct. 15. 

The $315 million two-story, enclosed mall has 880,000 square feet of leasable space and will include at least 100 stores, which will feature a mix of both national and local tenants.
