SCORES: ODA baseball tops Cardinal Mooney

The Out-of-Door Academy baseball team defeated Cardinal Mooney 8-1 March 6.

Zach Hoppe pitched a complete game for the Thunder, allowing one run while striking out eight and walking two. Hoppe also went 2-for-4 at the plate.

Evan Wilson went 2-for-3 with three RBIs and Jimmy Kuebler went 2-for-3 with a RBI to lead the way for ODA at the plate. Tyler Dietrich went 2-for-4 with a RBI and Austin Hoppe went 1-for-3 with a RBI.

With the win, ODA improved its record to 7-0 on the season. The Thunder return to action at 7 p.m. March 9 versus Palmetto.
