The Braden River High girls basketball team fell to Venice 43-42 in overtime Jan. 13.
Alexis Stout had 10 points and three steals to lead the way for the Lady Pirates. Erica Glisson added nine points and Chey Ogline finished with eight points.
Earlier in the week, the Lady Pirates topped Manatee 45-26.
Madison Jaco had a team-high 19 points. Glisson added nine points and Kiki Mitchell finished with seven points and 11 rebounds.
