Savoy on Palm condo tops this week's sales

The following residential real-estate transactions took place between April 16 and 20.

A condominium in Savoy on Palm tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Meirion Jones and Candice Steckler, Osprey, sold their Unit 901 condominium at 401 S. Palm Ave. to George and Ludmilla Malmberg, of Sarasota, for $1,895,000. Built in 2006, it has three bedrooms, three-and-one-half baths and 3,172 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,814,600 in 2006.

SARASOTA
Marina Tower
Caroline Cruickshank, Alexander Cruickshank Jr. and Anne McPhail sold their Unit 1101 condominium at 1233 N. Gulfstream Ave. to Monty and Cheryl Scher, of Highland Park, Ill., for $1.3 million. Built in 2001, it has four bedrooms, three-and-one-half baths and 3,780 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.5 million in 2001.

Harbor View on Golden Gate Point
Harbor View on Golden Gate Point Condominium Association Inc. sold the Unit 601 condominium at 650 Golden Gate Point to John and Carole Witterschein, of Sarasota, for $860,000. Built in 1962, it has three bedrooms, three-and-one-half baths and 2,791 square feet of living area.

Sarabande
Scott Winikow, personal representative, of Suffolk, N.Y., sold the Unit 54 condominium at 340 S. Palm Ave. to Nora Duffy, trustee, of New Buffalo, Mich., for $765,000. Built in 1998, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,774 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $800,000 in 2003.

Bay Plaza
Charles and Carol Exley, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 407 condominium at 1255 N. Gulfstream Ave. to Hans Li and Jennifer Kouvant, of New York, for $510,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,629 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $425,000 in 2009.

Alinari
Wayne Hall, of Downers Grove, of Ill., sold the Unit 303 condominium at 800 N. Tamiami Trail to John and Syra DaSilva, Kissimmee, for $355,000. Built in 2007, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,323 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $424,000 in 2007.

Condominium on the Bay
Federal National Mortgage Association sold the Unit 207 condominium at 888 Blvd. of the Arts to Ronald and Carole Wolfson, of Sarasota, for $305,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,288 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $500,000 in 2006.

The Island
Dennis Hartig, of Guttenberg, Iowa, sold his Unit B-1 condominium at 5350 Montclair Place to Caren Van Slyke, trustee, of Oak Park, Ill., for $290,000. Built in 1985, it has two bedrooms, two-and-one-half baths and 1,360 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $142,500 in 1997.

The Uplands
Debra Pitell-Hauge and Lester Hauge Jr., of Bradenton, sold their home at 444 Poincianna Drive to Patrick and Christina Cunningham, of Sarasota, for $265,000. Built in 1950, it has three bedrooms, one bath and 2,102 square feet of living area.

Renaissance I
John and Norma Thomas, of St. Charles, Mo., sold their Unit 302 condominium at 750 N. Tamiami Trail to Thomas Greaney, of Hoboken, N.J., for $207,700. Built in 2001, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,065 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $215,000 in 2002.

OSPREY
Villagewalk
Theodore and Denise Drabik sold their home at 7812 Uliva Way to Milton Sheridan and Margaret Sheridan, trustees, of N. Potomac, Md., for $400,000. Built in 2005, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,201 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $429,200 in 2005.

John-Erich and Sandra Mantius, of Lakewood Ranch, sold their home at 7944 Bergamo Ave. to Mark and Alison Strauss, of Marlboro, N.J., for $217,500. Built in 2004, it has three bedrooms, two-and-one-half baths and 1,672 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $244,900 in 2004.

South Creek
Aurora Loan Services LLC sold the home at 452 S. Creek Drive to E*Trade Bank for $390,000. E*Trade Bank then sold the home to Lysle Trenton Veach Jr., of Osprey, for $390,000. Built in 1990, it has three bedrooms, three-and-one-half baths, a pool and 3,312 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $326,100 in 2011.

Southbay Yacht and Racquet Club
Lynn Spindler sold her home at 159 Dory Lane to Katherine Tustin, trustee, of Osprey, for $312,000. Built in 1984, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,220 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $385,000 in 2003.

Anthony and Faith Nichols, of Ellenton, sold their home at 233 Keel Way to John and Gina Bacorn, of Marietta, Ga., for $281,000. Built in 1978, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,421 square feet of living area.

Villa Fiore
Raymond Spitale, of Sarasota, sold his home at 8069 Via Fiore to Andres Talero and Taline Kazandjian,, of Tarzana, Calif., for $305,000. Built in 1991, it has three bedrooms, two-and-one-half baths, a pool and 2,254 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $575,000 in 2005.

Rivendell
Barry and Madelon Portugal, of Highland Park, Ill., sold their home at 1017 Oak Preserve Lane to Laurence and Lynn Slevin, of Novi, Mich., for $293,000. Built in 2000, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,205 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $285,000 in 2003.

Barbara Tragar, of Maricopa, Ariz., sold her home at 546 Meadow Sweet Circle to Conrad and Karen Olfier, of Jackson, Mich., for $220,000. Built in 2000, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,105 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $192,500 in 2000.

Willowbend
Dolores White sold the home at 1332 Thornapple Drive to John and Lorie Smyth, of Ontario, Canada, for $290,000. Built in 2003, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,167 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $395,000 in 2007.

Villa D’Este
Millboy Investments Inc. sold the home at 7349 Villa D’Estate Drive to Michael and Merike Metcalfe, of Ontario, Canada, for $287,000. Built in 1988, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 2,207 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $222,000 in 1997.

Pelican Cove
Peter and Dona Everson, of N. Bradford, Conn., sold their Unit 159 condominium at 1503 Clower Creek Drive to James Burt, of Sarasota, for $285,000. Built in 1979, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,216 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $285,000 in 2001.

Stoneybrook Golf and Country Club
Larry and Lisa Sablosky, of Hamilton, Ind., sold their home at 8950 Olde Hickory Ave. to Carl Erxleben, of Sarasota, for $279,000. Built in 1996, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,192 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $225,000 in 1996.

Gulf Gate Woods
Edson Stevens sold the home at 7216 Antigua Place to Simon Staehli for $260,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, two-and-one-half baths and 1,554 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $150,000 in 2011.

Vamo
Patricia Anderson, trustee, of Wolfeboro, N.H., sold the home at 1770 Vamo Drive to Jane Reifert, of Sarasota, for $240,000. Built in 1985, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,947 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $350,000 in 2003.

NOKOMIS
Mission Estates
Winona Geering, of Elkhart, Ind., sold her home at 2318 Sonoma Drive to Peter and Barbara Skentzos, Nokomis, for $375,000. Built in 2001, it has three bedrooms, two-and-one-half baths, a pool and 3,007 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $550,000 in 2008.

Falcon Trace at Calusa Lakes
John and Bernadette Ackerly, of Nokomis, sold their home at 2282 Harrier Way to Edwin and Janet Loomis, of Nokomis, for $280,000. Built in 2001, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,108 square feet of living area.
