Sarasota Garden Club to host annual flower show

The Sarasota Garden Club will host their annual garden show 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 23, and Sunday, March 24, at the Sarasota Garden Club located at 1131 Boulevard of the Arts.

This year's show is 60s "flower power" themed. The show is free and open to the public. The public can learn about the various plants and get their questions learn how to grow different plants in Florida’s climate.

Garden club members will have a variety of flowers on display including orchids, roses, and bromeliads to name a few. Members are also dressing in tie-dye and wearing headbands to fit the theme.

In addition to the plant displays, members will put on four education displays. Food will be availabe for purchase and plants will be for sale as well.
