Sarasota firm makes major land purchase

BRSG Real Estate Holdings LLC, an Ohio firm, sold 29 acres of land on Clark Road to 4900 Clark LLC, a Sarasota-based company, for $5.5 million, according to a July 25 warranty deed.

The vacant parcel sits on the south side of Clark Road between Honore Avenue and McIntosh Road, and was last sold for $3.35 million in 2011, and $11.9 million before that at the height of the real estate bubble in 2007.

The land is zoned for industrial, light manufacturing and warehousing.
