Sarasota Crew attempting Guinness records

Row, row, row … your machine!

Sarasota Crew members are getting pumped up for their fourth annual Ergathon Fundraiser, when they’ll attempt to break three Guinness World Records while rowing on stationary rowing machines to raise money for equipment and scholarships.

More than 180 team members will participate in the event, which takes place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 6, at Whole Foods Market.

The team has spent the past three weeks collecting food donations at its location at Bay Preserve in Osprey and will sponsor an All Faith’s food drive during the ergathon. The event also will feature free drawings for Whole Foods and Michael’s On East gift cards.
