Young Entrepreneurs Academy
Runs from 6 to 7 p.m. at State College of Florida, 7131 Professional Parkway E., Lakewood Ranch. The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce will host a Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) information session for students currently in sixth through 12th grades, their families and local business leaders. Mystic Faire
Runs from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Sarasota Municipal Auditorium, 801 N. Tamiami Trail. The sixth annual Mystic Faire features everything metaphysical. An Affair to Remember
Starts at 6 p.m. at Potter Building, Sarasota County Fairgrounds, 2896 Ringling Blvd. To celebrate the 26th anniversary of the Americans with Disability Act (ADA), the Suncoast Center for Independent Living hosts “An Affair to Remember.” This year’s event will feature a disability-inclusive ballroom dance exhibition in partnership with Dynasty Dance Clubs and a performance by American Idol Season 12 Finalist Lazaro Arbos.
