Sarasota Beach home sells for $3.25 million

The following residential real estate transactions took place between Sept. 29 and Oct. 3.

A home in Sarasota Beach tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Gerard Neugent, trustee, sold the home at 220 Tenacity Lane to Mark Hennessy and Tracey Hennessy, trustees, of Westport, Conn., for $3.25 million. Built in 1999, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 3,467 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $4.25 million in 2013.

SARASOTA
DeSota Park
Brad Lerner and Melissa Jekonski-Lerner, of Sarasota, sold their home at 2111 Osprey Ave. to John and Sandra Keenan, of Sarasota, for $1,802,000. Built in 2008, it has five bedrooms, five baths, one half-bath, a pool and 5,305 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1 million in 2011.

Baypoint Park
Thomas and Cheryl Bell, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1585 Bay Point Drive to Bernabe Somoza, of Sarasota, for $1,725,000. Built in 1937, it has three bedrooms, two baths, one half-bath, a pool and 2,302 square feet of living area.

San Remo Estates
Harold Humbert Jr. and Joan Urban, trustees, and Margaret Humbert sold the home at 3606 Tangier Terrace to Yvonne Baise, trustee, of Sarasota, for $1.35 million. Built in 1959, it has four bedrooms, two baths, one half-bath, a pool and 3,888 square feet of living area.

Sarasota Bay Club LLC sold the Unit 1014 condominium at 1301 N. Tamiami Trail to Richard and Joan Webster, of Sarasota, for $1 million. Built in 2000, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,772 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $835,000 in 2011.

Bay Plaza
Greg and Lola Lecewicz, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 707 condominium at 1255 N. Gulfstream Ave. to Marilyn Harwell, of Sarasota, for $820,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,629 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $211,500 in 1986.

Granada
James O’Neil Jr., of Nokomis, sold his home at 1678 Bonita Lane to Peter and Heidi Grady, of Sarasota, for $790,000. Built in 2013, it has three bedrooms, three baths, one half-bath and 3,442 square feet of living area.

John and Jose Rose, of Nesfield Elkle, United Kingdom, sold their Unit 1007 condominium at 707 S. Gulfstream Ave. to Larry and Nola Hietbrink, of Sarasota, for $585,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,283 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $460,000 in 2002.

The Northern Trust Co., trustee, sold the home at 1880 Loma Linda St. to the Equity Trust Co., trustee, for $490,000. Built in 1954, it has five bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 2,904 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $575,000 in 2004.

Dale and Cathy Allen, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 6782 condominium at 6782 Schooner Bay Circle to Fred and Courtney Goodman, of Sarasota, for $390,000. Built in 1987, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,738 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $425,000 in 2013.

Poms Park
Venti Holdings LLC sold two homes at 2280 and 2290 Browning St. to Florida Studio Theatre Inc. for $349,000. Both built in 1969, they each have four bedrooms and two baths. One has 1,438 square feet of living area, and the other has 1,437. They previously sold for $217,500 in June.

Willowbrook
Jack and Frances Godley sold their home at 9088 Willowbrook Drive to Robert and Kathleen Ventrice, of Lake Hopatcong, N.J., for $342,000. Built in 2001, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,502 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $330,000 in 2013.

Dawn Street
Lubos Holub, of Ricany, Czech Republic, sold his home at 1706 Dawn St. to Kathleen Alello, of New Rochelle, N.Y., for $335,000. Built in 1984, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,630 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $230,000 in 2009.

Federal National Mortgage Association sold the Unit 4 condominium at 5263 Landings Blvd. to Amy Tepper, of Sarasota, for $234,900. Built in 1984, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,946 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $287,100 in 2013.

Susan Carter, of Sarasota, sold her Unit 5537 condominium at 5537 Ashton Lake Drive to Stephen Allen and Hope Allen, trustees, of Lemont, Ill., for $220,000. Built in 1991, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,106 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $128,000 in 1993.

Built in 2007, it has three bedrooms, two baths, one half-bath and 2,110 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,485,700 in 2007.

Michelle Piana, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 141 condominium at 5400 Ocean Blvd. to L. William Paxon and Susan Molinari, of Arlington, Va., for $1.2 million. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,187 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $700,000 in 2000.

Paradise Island
James and Cheryl Slater, of Pikeville, Ky., sold their home at 347 Avenida De Paradisio to Christopher and Tracy Spears, of Washington, Ill., for $700,000. Built in 1973, it has four bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,716 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $605,000 in May.

Joan Olszeski, of Uniontown, Ohio, sold her Unit 105 condominium at 6140 Midnight Pass Road to William and Margaraet Denk, of Roswell, Ga., for $455,000. Built in 1967, it has one bedroom, one bath and 848 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $20,000 in 1968.
