San Remo Estates home sells for $3.9 million

The following residential real-estate transactions took place between July 30 and August 2.

A home in San Remo Estates tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. David and Therese Dixon, of Brighton, Mich., sold their home at 3544 San Remo Terrace to Patrick and Diana Maloney, of Sarasota, for $3.9 million. Built in 1971, it has four bedrooms, five-and-two-half baths, a pool and 6,710 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.05 million in 2008.

Camino Real
Alan Ferguson and Teresa Jones, of Sarasota, sold their home at 4505 Camino Real to Jason and Allison Castilow, of Sarasota, for $850,000. Built in 2001, it has five bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths and 3,501 square feet of living area.

Poinsettia Park
Jason and Allison Castilow, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1850 Goldenrod St. to David and Cathleen Mysak, of Waterford, Va., for $600,000. Built in 1949, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,543 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $418,000 in 2003.

Hillview
Cherie Binger, of Sarasota, sold her home at 1614 Hillview St. to Albert and Ruth Novak, of Sarasota, for $515,000. Built in 1940, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,630 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $375,000 in 2002.

Marquee En Ville
Katherine MacAvoy, of Woodstock, Vt., sold her Unit 107-B condominium at 235 Cocoanut Ave. to Dennis and Robyn Bivona, of Sparta, N.J., for $475,000. Built in 2006, it has two bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 2,290 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $907,500 in 2006.

Darla Meske-O’Brien, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 62 condominium at 37 Sunset Drive to Joseph Suchan Jr., of Sarasota, for $400,000. Built in 1971, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,066 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $490,000 in 2007.

William and Meredith Chastain, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 71 condominium at 1441 Landings Circle to Lisa Carter and Mark Schraeger, of Sarasota, for $385,000. Built in 1983, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,176 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $255,000 in 2003.

Equine Real Estate LLC sold the home at 3255 Pine Valley Drive to James Hallman, of Bradenton, for $315,000. Built in 1964, it has four bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,384 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $142,000 in 2011.

CDM I LLC sold the home at 2432 Whippoorwill Circle to Corey Moody, of Sarasota, for $200,000. Built in 1954, it has five bedrooms, three baths and 2,360 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $91,000 in April.

Jean Hovsepian, trustee, and Michael Hovsepian sold their home at 854 Mac Ewen Drive to Timothy and Regina Callahan, of Osprey, for $1.35 million. Built in 2003, it has four bedrooms, four-and-two-half baths, a pool and 9,080 square feet of living area.

Richard and Barbara Sandler, of Sarasota, sold their home at 2310 Falcon Trace Lane to Kenneth Hammond and Kathleen Hammond, trustees, of Powell, Ohio, for $244,500.
