The Sarasota High boys golf team defeated Manatee 89-99 in a match Sept. 3 that was shortened to five holes due to lightning.
Ben Tortorice shot 20 to lead the way for the Sailors. Logan Finlay and Cody Chupp each shot 21. Parker Spence added a 27.
Richard Bennett shot 21 to lead the way for Manatee. Moe Wood shot 23 followed by Robby Tingler (26) and Hale Innocente and Harrison Fuller who both shot 29.
