Construction work is under way at the intersection of Gulf of Mexico Drive and St. Judes Drive to replace asphalt that lifted last month.
The damage came as the result of a 6-inch water main breakage that occurred June 15.
According to Longboat Key Public Works Director Juan Florensa, the work will be completed by the end of the day.
