+ Pettingell hosts shredding and recycling event
Roger Pettingell, of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate, hosted a shredding-and-recycling event Saturday, March 27, at Coldwell’s Longboat Key office. Nearly 100 of Pettingell’s clients and Longboat, Lido and Bird keys residents brought old documents to be shredded and electronics to be recycled. Participants received a certificate of destruction. Pettingell plans to hold a similar event in the future.

+ Michael Saunders blog features Longbeach Village
On Michael Saunders & Co.’s blog, thesaundersblog.com, a recent “Neighborhood Report” post profiled the Longbeach Village.

According to the report, the Village has more than 300 single-family and town homes, 20 of which are available through the Multiple Listing Service (MLS). Listing prices start at $329,000 for a 1,075-square-foot home and go up to $3.9 million for a 4,172-square-foot, bayfront home. In 2009, eight properties sold in the Village for prices ranging from $285,000 to $699,000, with an average selling price of $525,000.
