+ Pettingell ranks in WSJ and Real Trends Top 1,000
Roger Pettingell, of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate’s Longboat Key office, ranked in the Wall Street Journal and Real Trends top 250 sales professionals in the country for his 2010 sales volume. The list ranks Pettingell at No. 185 in the country, with a total volume of $41,440,500.

+ Mei, Rutstein of Signature Sotheby’s join forces
Barbara Mei and Jo Rutstein, of Signature Sotheby’s International Realty, have partnered as a Realtor team specializing in downtown Sarasota condominiums.

Born in Italy and raised in New York, Mei represented Manhattan residences for 20 years, in The Corcoran Group’s Townhouse Division. She holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Boston College and a master’s degree in nutrition from Columbia University. Mei is fluent in Spanish and Italian. She holds Florida and New York broker’s licenses and serves on the Sarasota board of the American Cancer Society and as a member-at-large of the Women Presidents’ Organization.

Rutstein worked in sales of women’s apparel for more than 20 years. In 2010, she ranked in the top 1% of Realtors in Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte counties. Rutstein holds the following designations: Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), Certified Luxury Home Market Specialists (CLHMS), Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) and Resort & Second-Home Property Specialist (RSPS). She is a recipient of the Five Star Real Estate Agent Award six years in a row for Best in Client Satisfaction. Rutstein is a member of Women’s Council of Realtors and the Institute of Luxury Home Marketing. She is involved with the Sarasota Ballet, Sarasota Symphony and Sarasota Opera, and she serves on the board of Children First and Sarasota Rotary Foundation.
