+ Roger Pettingell reaches Legends Society
Roger Pettingell, of Coldwell Banker’s Longboat Key office, has reached the Legends Society, Coldwell Banker’s highest level of achievement. Pettingell has achieved the honor three times in the past four years. He was named the top agent in 2008 and 2010 for all Coldwell agents.

“Reaching this level of achievement is truly a dedicated accomplishment, as it is difficult to attain,” said Bob Stanley, managing broker of the company’s Longboat Key office, in a prepared statement. “Roger maintains a high service expectation and is in a perpetual quest for the most innovative methods to meet the needs of his clients.”

+ The Curp Group joins Coldwell Banker’s Longboat Key office
The Curp Group’s John Curp and Diann Thelan have joined Coldwell Banker’s Longboat Key office. Curp has worked in Ohio as an attorney in the commercial banking field and is an avid bicyclist. Thelan has served for 12 years as editor of Sarasota/Manatee Builder magazine and is a competitive tennis player.

+ Engel & Völkers closes seven Bradenton Beach units
Engel & Völkers Anna Maria/Longboat Key has closed seven units in the luxury South Beach Village development in Bradenton Beach. The units sold for a total $2.8 million.

“All over Florida, we have seen the real-estate market has proven to be on the rise,” said Ray Alexander, owner of Engel & Völkers Anna Maria Island/Longboat Key, in a prepared statement. “The timing for this purchase was right, and we are pleased with the closing of this development.”
