+ Lido Key home sells for $6.35 million
Coldwell Banker Previews International sales associate Barbara Ackerman represented the seller of the home at 1219 Westway Drive on Lido Key, which sold for $6.35 million in December. Deborah Beacham, of Michael Saunders & Co., represented the buyer.

Built in 2003, the 12,000-square-foot, three-story estate has five bedrooms, six-and-a-half bathrooms and 198 feet of frontage on the Gulf of Mexico, along with a private 30-foot dock and private beach access.
The home was one of just three properties in Sarasota County to close for more than $6 million, according to a prepared statement.

+ Wagner Realty to manage Wicker Inn
Wagner Realty has assumed leasing and management responsibilities for Wicker Inn, according to a news release.

Bonnie Wiedman, Wagner’s Longboat Key property manager, will oversee the resort along with other Key properties.

The property at 5581 Gulf of Mexico Drive has 10 rental suites and one cottage, ranging from one bedroom to three bedrooms. A news release describes the property as “a classic, Old Florida-style beach resort with cozy suites gathered around a lushly landscaped pool.”

It is located on the Gulf of Mexico and has tropical décor that includes wicker rockers on front porches. Weekly rentals are available.
