Ranch CDD 2 swears in new supervisor

The Lakewood Ranch Community Development District 2 board swore in a new supervisor at its meeting Thursday, April 17.

Jerry Twiggs will fill the CDD 2 seat vacated by Kathleen Grant, who resigned in March. 

The term of Twiggs’ seat expires in November. 

Twiggs is the chief operating officer of Peace River Electric Cooperative. 

He has lived in Watercrest Condominiums since 2008. 

Twiggs was president of the Watercrest Condo Association since 2009, but resigned from that position to not have conflict with his new job as CDD 2 supervisor.
