Ranch adds new builder

Lakewood Ranch today announced the addition of a new builder to its roster.

Taylor Morrison Inc. will develop Esplanade, a 450-home neighborhood north of State Road 70 on 195 acres. Construction of Esplanade will begin in mid-2011, with sales slated to begin in the first quarter of 2012.

Esplanade, a gated community, will feature amenities including a fitness facility, gathering room, craft room, card and media room, catering kitchen, billiard room, library, heated resort-style pool and spa, two lighted har-tru tennis courts, formal event lawn, dog park and miles of walking trails.

Taylor Morrison will offer homes ranging in from 1,400 to 2,700 square feet on 42-, 52- and 62-foot lots.
