The Riverview High boys cross-country team scored 32 points to win the Class 4A-District 8 championship Oct. 23 in Largo.
Blake Riley won the individual crown, finishing first in 16:34.15. Bryce Vokus finished second in 16:46.58 followed by Warran Grajalez (3rd, 16:52.76), Russell Natherson (12th, 17:14.46) and Matthew Berman (14th, 17:21.72).
On the girls side, Riverview scored 42 points to finish second behind North Port (30).
Chimami Wade finished fourth overall in 19:59.43 followed by Jessica Lonas (5th, 20:15.70), Michaelie Grajalez (6th, 20:16.65), Robyn Natherson (11th, 20:30.81) and Rachael Cramer (16th, 20:40.79).
Both teams will advance to the Class 4A-Region 2 meet Nov. 2 in North Port.
