P&Z to continue transportation discussions

The Longboat Key Planning & Zoning Board will continue to discuss transportation-related amendments to its Comprehensive Plan at a special meeting beginning at 9 a.m. tomorrow at Town Hall, 501 Bay Isles Road.

The board previously discussed transportation-related amendments at a special Aug. 16 meeting, during which town staff laid out five basic objectives for amendments, including developing a multimodal transportation system and requiring future development (excluding transportation development) to bear a proportionate cost of facility improvements needed to maintain level-of-service standards.
