Education: Masters of public administration from Golden Gate University, and bachelor of arts degree in psychology from State Leo University.

Background: Florida native Eva Rey began work as the executive director for Lakewood Ranch Town Hall in August 2011.

Rey, who was hired by the Lakewood Ranch Inter-District Authority board to oversee Town Hall's operations, has more than 11 years experience in local government with both county and community development experience.

She previously served as the director of purchasing and support services for the Village Center Community Development District. The Villages community, which has about 83,000 residents, sits on about 26,000 acres spanning Sumter, Lake and Marion counties.
