Police release details of drug bust

The Sarasota Police Department released details of a prescription drug bust today, which resulted in the arrest of 36-year-old Tera Rose last week.

An undercover detective allegedly bought 50 Oxycodone pills for $1,400 from Rose in the Westfield Southgate Mall parking lot Wednesday, May 28. Officers also found four Xanax pills and another 22 Oxycodone pills during the arrest.

Authorities have charged Rose with one count of trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.
