+ Perlman brings Hollywood to Key
When people think of movies, the first place that usually comes to mind is Los Angeles.

Jason Eric Perlman, son of Longboater Richard Perlman, however, brought a little L.A. to LBK.
Perlman wrote and directed the movie “Threshold” in Los Angeles and has been editing it on the Key since September.

“‘Threshold’ is a psychological thriller about a young couple who decides to foster a child who is then killed very tragically,” Perlman said. “Events trigger odd, apocalyptic events that culminate in a strange, other-worldly intruder in the house, who seems to know impossible details about the couple and their child.”

Perlman hopes to finish the movie by February, when he will take it back to L.A. with the ultimate goal of having it distributed by a major studio, leading to a small theatrical release.
