Efforts to transform Nathan Benderson Community Park into a world-class facility official start their upward momentum today.
Officials will break ground on the park’s first vertical structure, a finish tower, at 3 p.m.
The tower, once completed, will provide viewing areas for media and judges during rowing regattas, public restrooms, offices for the park’s operator Suncoast Aquatic Nature Center & Associates, and other features.
