Palmer Ranch park donation approved

County commissioners officially accepted today a donation from Palmer Ranch Holdings, the ownership and development company behind Palmer Ranch.

PRH donated 82 acres of vacant land to be turned into a public park.

The property is located between The Legacy Trail and The Hamptons Wellington Chase subdivisions.

Among the park amenities will be a nature trail linked to The Legacy Trail, an open play area, a shelter with a restroom and a community garden, which will be named the Culverhouse Nature Park.
