Oyster Bay Estates home sells for $2.7 million

Kenneth and Mitzie Henson sold their home at 1204 N. Lake Shore Drive to Ferdinand and Jamie Becker, Sarasota, for $2.7 million. Built in 2002, it has four bedrooms, five-and-a-half baths, a pool and 4,449 square feet of living area. Of this week’s 13 residential real-estate transactions, which were recorded Jan. 2 to Jan. 6, two were for more than $2 million.

CASEY KEY
Caroline and Dennis Clark, of Birmingham, Ala., sold their home at 3256 Casey Key Road to John and Joy Miller, of Peoria, Ill., for $2.2 million. Built in 1955, it has four bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,077 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2,150,000 in 2004.

Realnor Properties Inc. sold the Unit 1404 condominium at 1111 Ritz-Carlton Drive to Richard and Melinda Bezozo, of Warren, N.J., for $925,000. Built in 2001, it has two bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,754 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,178,900 in 2011.

Old Oaks
John and Barbara Mengelberg sold their home at 928 Indian Beach Drive to Larry Wickless and Carole Crosby, Sarasota, for $899,000. Built in 2001, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,241 square feet of living area.

Sapphire Shores
Paul and Doris Wolfe sold their home at 335 S. Shore Drive to Fred Gerigery, Sarasota, for $550,000. Built in 1954, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,791 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $33,000 in 1968.

Renaissance
Valerie Sutter, Sarasota, sold her Unit 1609 condominium at 750 N. Tamiami Trail to Mohit and Nisha Sabharwal, New York, for $425,000. Built in 2001, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,360 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $530,000 in 2003.

Virginia Corcoran, Englewood, sold her Unit 211 condominium at 988 Blvd. of the Arts to Alexander Meyer, Sarasota, for $300,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,555 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $125,900 in 1988.

Central Park
Louis Williams, of Oakland, Tenn., sold the Unit 201 condominium at 825 S. Osprey Ave. to Edward Bush Jr., Sarasota, for $220,000. Built in 1985, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,260 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $162,500 in 2009.

William Thoms, trustee, and Nancy Mabile and Steven MacDonald, of Douglas, Neb., sold the home at 4544 Longspur Lane to Diane Winegar, Sarasota, for $335,000. Built in 1991, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a pool and 2,457 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $80,000 in 1991.
Kenneth Inch Jr., Carolyn Inch Marriott and William Inch, of Huntersville, N.C., sold their home at 8212 Shadow Pine Way to Blake Roberts, Sarasota, for $255,000. Built in 1991, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,224 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $225,000 in 1994.

Daniel and Madeline Joy, Osprey, sold their home at 64 Bay Head Lane to Carol Boyd, trustee, Osprey, for $442,500. Built in 1990, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 2,579 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $280,000 in 2001.

Stephen and Yetta Levitt, Cortez, sold their home at 1060 Delacroix Circle to Dale and Tara Desjardins, Nokomis, for $500,000. Built in 1986, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,215 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $738,000 in 2008.

Blake Kelly, of Montrose, Pa., sold his home at 1528 Vermeer Drive to William and Kathleen Davis, Nokomis, for $204,000. Built in 1986, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,322 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $87,500 in 2011.
