This St. Patrick's Day the Baltimore Orioles will make opposing teams green with envy, sporting new limited-edition green baseball caps.

The caps will be worn during the Tuesday home game against the Minnesota Twins and will be up for auction online at the start of the game.

The deviation from the Orioles orange is in recognition of "Go Green" day at Ed Smith Stadium. Marie Selby Botanical Gardens partnered with the team to extend the theme to also help promote environmental education.

“The Orioles are proud to partner with Selby Gardens, one of the Sarasota area’s most treasured attractions and a world leader in environmental education, as we celebrate ‘Go Green’ Day at Ed Smith Stadium,” said David Rovine, Vice President of Orioles-Sarasota in a release. “The stadium is a showcase for sustainable building practices, which we demonstrate year-round. This special focus during spring training, along with the auction benefiting a local environmental organization, highlights for our fans the importance of thinking ‘green’ in our everyday lives.”

Each of the baseball caps will also feature signatures from Orioles players. Fans can bid on the caps at orioles.com/spring starting from 1:05 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17 until Tuesday, March 24 at 11:59 p.m.
