Orange Avenue slated for closures next week

A pair of construction projects will require the closure of two segments of Orange Avenue between Main Street and Bahia Vista street.

The closures are partially attributable to continuing work on the State Street parking garage project.

Segments of Orange Avenue will be closed from June 15-19 as the city conducts two utilities construction projects.

As work continues on the State Street parking garage project, Orange Avenue will be closed between Main Street and Ringling Boulevard for five days. Crews are scheduled to connect a water main during that closure.

Additionally, another segment of Orange Avenue will be closed from June 15-17 to allow for the installation of a gravity sewer line. During that period, the street will be closed from Loma Linda Street to Bahia Vista Street.
