Anita Wexler and the Sarasota County Arts Council co-hosted "Trashed," an eco-friendly art reception Wednesday, July 15, at the Arts Council. Wexler created abstract art pieces from recycled materials exclusively for the event.

Pieces of art were sold for $100 each, with $75 benefiting the Arts Council.
