Obituary: Thomas D. McInerney

Thomas D. McInery of Longboat Key, Fl and Preston Hollow, N.Y. died on Monday, Nov. 21. He was 84.

Mr. McInery was born and raised in the Bronx. He was a Navy veteran of both World War II and the Korean War with the rank of Teleman 3rd Class. Mr. McInerney was employed by the United States Treasury Department, Bureau of Customs, with the rank of Inspector, working at John F. Kennedy International Airport and was retired.

He is survived by Mary O’Shea McInerney; sister, Mary White; daughters, Suzanne, Loretta, Veronica, Mary Ellen and late Ellen; sons, Thomas and Richard; many grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A funeral took place on Nov. 28 at A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, and burial was in Saratoga National Cemetery. The family gratefully declines flowers.
