Obituary: Lucien Levy

Lucien Levy, 85, of Longboat Key, died Nov. 13.

Born Dec. 21, 1923, he was a former resident of New York City, Lausanne, Switzerland and Cairo. He was a real-estate developer and philanthropist.

Mr. Levy is survived by his wife, Elvire; daughter, Michele Spycher; son, Roland Levy; brother, Andre Levy; sister, Nelly Olsburgh; and three grandchildren.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, at Toale Brothers Chapel, 40 N. Orange Ave., Sarasota, followed by burial at Temple Beth Sholom Cemetery, 801 Circus Blvd., Sarasota.
