Obituary: J. Donald Monsky

J. Donald Monsky, 77, of Sarasota, died July 21.

Born Feb. 3, 1937, in Columbus, Ga., Mr. Monsky graduated in 1959 from Emory University and completed post-graduate work at Columbia University. He served as a medic in the U.S. Army Medical Corp.

Mr. Monsky married in 1966, in New York City, and worked at Hoffman La Roche as medical editor and at USV Pharmaceuticals, a division of Revlon Inc.

Mr. Monsky is survived by his wife, Marie. The family will be at home for friends this Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. A memorial service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Jewish Family & Children’s Service, 2688 Fruitville Road, Sarasota, FL 34237.
