Hermine Silver, of Longboat Key and formerly of Franklin, Mich., died Oct. 7. She was 79.
She was born July 25, 1932.
Mrs. Silver is survived by her husband, Howard; daughters Greta and Abby; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service was held Sunday at Temple Beth Israel, 567 Bay Isles Road.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The National Council of Jewish Women.
