Eugene Stern, 91, of Longboat Key, died Oct. 28.
Mr. Stern was the former president of the Irving in Chicago. He was married to his wife, Claire, for 61 years.
Mr. Stern is survived by his wife, Claire; children Rae Frankel and Gene Stern; four grandchildren; and dog, Mimi.
